TEMPO.CO, London - Top waif model Kate Moss has joined the editorial team of British Vogue magazine as the contributing fashion editor. She will start her duties for the upcoming spring edition with a theme that has yet to be determined.
"I am absolutely delighted that Kate is going to work with us in this new role," said Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman. "Her undoubtedly brilliant sense of style, depth of fashion knowledge, and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see used in the pages of British Vogue. I am really looking forward to working with her on ideas."
Moss once appeared on the cover of the high fashion British edition of the magazine when she was 33 years old. The 39-year old model will be a hands-on editor and work with the rest of the magazine’s fashion team to produce fashion shoots with her choice of models and photographers.
This is not the first time the British model has been involved in Vogue magazine’s editorial scene. In 2005, Moss was also involved as a guest editor for Vogue Paris.
The announcement comes just a week after it was revealed Moss would resume her design collaboration with Topshop, with a collection to be released in April 2014.
